GfK Strategic Marketing Promotes Serhiy Hrubiy to Vice President and Sally Davis to Senior Consultant

Bala Cynwyd, PA – February 8, 2007 – GfK Strategic Marketing, a leading provider of custom healthcare marketing research, recently promoted Serhiy Hrubiy, M.S., M.B.A. to the position of Vice President from Senior Consultant and Sally Davis, Ph.D. to the position of Senior Consultant from Consultant.

Serhiy Hrubiy is an accomplished researcher who has consulted with many of the largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies over the course of his career. He is highly skilled in areas such as forecasting, pricing, segmentation, patient flow/records, ATU/tracking, sales force/detailing effectiveness and concept test studies and has also has conducted research in market penetration, product positioning, consumer behavior and advertising. His therapeutic areas of expertise include psychiatry, cardiology, rheumatology and anesthesia.

Before joining GfK Strategic Marketing, Hrubiy was a Research Director at Market Measures/Cozint and he also founded his own research firm that designed and managed projects for companies in healthcare and a variety of other sectors while living in Ukraine.

Hrubiy was selected as one of 16 individuals – out of 7,700 employees worldwide – to serve as a member of GfK’s 2005/2006 Excellence Team, which helped the GfK Management Board develop the company’s corporate branding strategy.

He holds an M.B.A. from Lviv Institute of Management and a master’s degree in Physics from Lviv State University.

A consultant to the healthcare industry for nearly 10 years, Sally Davis has conducted marketing research studies in the areas of new product development, market segmentation, and product positioning, pricing, and forecasting using a diverse array of in-depth qualitative and quantitative multivariate techniques.

Dr. Davis has conducted extensive research with physicians, nurses, managed care decision makers (medical and pharmacy directors) and medical consumers. Her pharmaceutical experience spans a wide range of therapeutic areas including chronic kidney disease, oncology, osteoporosis, pediatric vaccines, anxiety and depression, ADHD, MS, dyslipidemia, diabetes, asthma and COPD, OA, IBS, and IBD (Crohn's disease), HIV/AIDS, ED, reproductive health and allergic conjunctivitis.

Dr. Davis earned her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also completed her undergraduate degree graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She has taught statistics, research methods and cognitive psychology at Bryn Mawr College and Lehigh University.
